Cassidy Strengthens Federal Marketing Consulting with Defense Expert
WASHINGTON — Cassidy & Associates strengthened its Federal Marketing Group as it announced today the addition of George Meyers, a long-time defense industry expert, as Vice President.
“George brings with him an extensive background of real world experience within our nation’s defense apparatus that will benefit our clients and their efforts to partner with the federal government,” said Gerald S.J. Cassidy, executive chairman and founder of Cassidy & Associates. “George knows all the key players and maneuvers to successfully navigate clients through an intimidating maze of policies and potential opportunities.”

Meyers most recently worked as a Business Development Director at Lockheed Martin where he managed the unit responsible for the entire Lockheed Martin Department of Defense and National Intelligence business. He also served as Director, Legislative Affairs & Business Development at ACS.
C&A’s Federal Marketing Group is led by John Boylan, whose 30 years of in-depth knowledge of defense, intelligence and homeland security procurement policy has propelled his group to the top of the market. Boylan’s team also includes defense expert, Mark Hegarty, whose experience has been essential to securing key partnering opportunities for clients ranging from start-ups, small businesses, universities to Fortune 500 companies.
Meyers has previously held the positions of both Chief Lobbyist and Chief Acquisitions Manager for the U.S. Secretary of the Air Force and is a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force serving in 4 different conflicts and selected for 2 wartime commands.
He is a graduate of Louisiana State University where he earned a B.S. in Education and earned a M.S. in Management at Embry Riddle and M.S. in International Affairs at Air Command University.
