Jed uses his unique blend of legal and policy experience to advance his clients’ priorities in a rapidly changing energy and natural resources policy landscape.
Jed joined Cassidy after serving as Senior Counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, where he was responsible for negotiating and advancing legislation on electricity generation and transmission, natural gas transportation, oil and gas production, cybersecurity, and clean energy technologies such as energy storage and carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration. Prior to the Committee, Jed served as Energy Counsel to Sen. John Barrasso and practiced energy regulatory law at a major law firm.
Jed earned a law degree from the George Washington University Law School and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Vanderbilt University.
