Senior Vice President

Michelle is a Senior Vice President at Cassidy and Associates, working on behalf of clients to further their policy and appropriation needs, helping them promote their issue-specific needs in Washington or secure federal funding. 

Michelle represents a diverse group of clients including traditional and nontraditional Defense contractors, Healthcare companies, and universities focusing on addressing their Defense or Veterans Affairs policy and appropriations needs. Additionally, she uses her experience with the appropriations process to assist clients navigating across the additional various appropriations subcommittees.

A recognized military healthcare professional with more than 20 years of leadership experience in the U.S. Army, clients benefit from both her operational experience in the Army and within the Military Health System as well as her legislative expertise gained while serving as an Army Budget Congressional Liaison and as the Chief of Congressional Affairs in the U.S. Army’s Office of the Surgeon General.

Michelle is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, earned a Master’s degree in Health Evaluation Sciences from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Massachusetts.
