Executive Vice President

Ryan is an Executive Vice President at Cassidy & Associates developing and deploying substantial public policy solutions that deliver real results for clients.

Before joining Cassidy in December 2016, Ryan served as an energy and environmental policy advisor to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Ryan served Sen. Reid in numerous roles, as a Policy Advisor providing key analysis on energy, environment, and natural resource bills and to the Senate Democratic Policy Committee prior to that. He earlier served as a legislative aide in the Leader’s personal office.

His decade of public policy experience includes participating in the development of clean energy markets, ensuring energy security, developing water infrastructure and deploying advanced biofuels.

Ryan earned a master’s degree in legislative affairs from The George Washington University and bachelor’s degrees in history and political science from Xavier University.
