CASSIDY INTERNSHIPS

We are looking for college students and/or recent graduates who want to help execute interdisciplinary research, policy analysis, and business development projects. Our team is eager to develop projects that will optimize the selected intern’s academic strengths and help grow his or her professional skill set.

Our ideal candidate is resourceful, flexible, enthusiastic, and uses an interdisciplinary approach to problem solving. The candidate can work both independently and with a team, is a self-starter, and possesses the ability to research and synthesize information from a variety of government sources.

Details:

• Internships are a maximum of four months in duration. We will accommodate shorter term internships as needed.
• Full-time interns are expected to work 40 hours a week. Current students who wish to intern part-time may have more flexibility with their schedule.
• Interns must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university.
• Interns are compensated based on DC’s minimum hourly wage.
• We will work with students to secure college credit for their internship if desired.
• Internships are fully in-person at our office in DC.
• All Service Members (Veterans, Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard) are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated interest in political science, government, and/or public policy
• Familiarity with Federal legislative and regulatory process
• Familiarity with federal policy information resources
• Prior relevant internship or work experience, especially on Capitol Hill
• Strong writing and research skills
• Rising junior or senior in college or recent college graduate preferred
