Chad Sydnor

Executive Vice President

Chad serves as Executive Vice President at Cassidy & Associates, where he brings together his legal training, deep expertise in defense policy, and distinguished military service to deliver strategic results for clients. Since joining the firm in 2017, he has guided organizations to success across a wide range of sectors, including aerospace, ammunition, combat vehicles, critical minerals, intelligence technology, military healthcare, military installations and communities, robotics, small arms, special operations, and unmanned aerial systems.

A retired Army aviation officer rated in the AH-64 Apache, Chad completed more than two decades of service before retiring in 2024. His career in public service also includes senior roles on Capitol Hill as defense counsel to Senator Richard Burr and as a military legislative aide to Senator John Boozman and Congressman Joe Wilson. Earlier, he served as an Assistant District Attorney in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Chad earned a B.A. in Political Science from North Carolina State University and a J.D. from Campbell University, and he remains an active member of the North Carolina State Bar.
